The Guardian - Faerie and Bird's Nest Necklace

The Guardian - Faerie and Bird's Nest Necklace

295.00

This one-of-a-kind fairy tale necklace portrays a beautiful fairy watching over a bird nest that holds a tiny egg until the mother bird flies back home.   Hand-wrought from sterling silver, the faerie's serene handmade porcelain face, that is painted and glazed to protect it from wear, is set in a sterling silver setting that holds a small hand woven bird's nest cradling a tiny freshwater peacock pearl egg. Two hand-wrought branches adorned with hand-engraved leaves are attach to a textured and oxidized sterling silver chain by tiny garnet stones.

Her Story:
"Faeries and birds live in perfect harmony.  When a mama bird needs to leave her nest to go get food so she can continue to sit on her egg until it hatches, kind-hearted forest faeries step in.  They guard over the nest, protecting the little egg from harm, until the mother returns."
